Will not yield to blackmail tactics: Chandrababu Naidu
KAKINADA: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday accused Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and home minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy of trying to blackmail him and frame him in cases. “I will not yield to such blackmail tactics and threats.
I will pierce through like a bullet,” said Mr Naidu, while lashed out at Mr Rao, Mr Narasimha Reddy and YSRC chief Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy during the Janmabhoomi-Maa Vuru programme at Chebrolu village in Gollaprolu mandal of East Godavari district. Alluding to the cash-for-vote scam, in which he might be made an accused, Mr Naidu said that it was actually Mr Rao against whom cases should be lodged as he had “bought and threatened TD MLAs” and had even made a TD MLA a minister without feeling any shame.
Attacking Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy, Mr Naidu said the YSRC chief was involved in 16 criminal cases. “How can he criticise me?” he asked. He also said that though AP was in a financial crisis, he was fulfilling all his promises for the welfare of the people.
