The information sought is scattered with more than one public authority, says PMO

New Delhi: Asked to list 20 major achievements of the Modi Government, the Prime Minister's Office says information on this is not held by it.

"I am to refer to your application (no 6111) dated May 5, 2015 received and to state that the information is not held by this office," the PMO said in an RTI response to a Ahmedabad-based applicant.

"The information sought by you is scattered with more than one public authority. Therefore, your application is not transferred to another public authority under Section 6(3) of the Right to Information Act, 2005," CPIO in PMO Ambuj Sharma said in the response.

"As per various media reports current Indian Government is going to celebrate completion of one year of Indian Government from 26th May 2014. Please provide the following information. Please provide top 20 achievements by current Indian Government," the applicant had sought in the RTI.

The government has launched an information campaign across the country to highlight its achievements during the last one year.
