Bengaluru: A four-member gang allegedly assaulted a 38-year-old woman and her son over a trivial issue at Banshankari on Wednesday evening. Based on a complaint, the police arrested two of the accused, Venkatesh and Harish, residents of Banashankari.
In their police complaint, Savitha and her son Prafulla alleged that the incident occurred on Wednesday morning when they were traveling in their car. Harish, a mechanic, who was riding a bike in a reckless manner, brushed past their car at BSK II Stage.
An argument broke out between Prafulla and Harish over this. Harish allegedly assaulted Prafulla. Savitha too was allegedly assaulted by Harish and his three friends when she intervened.
