UBM: More jewellers join B2B business
Hyderabad: UBM India, country’s leading exhibition organiser, stated that the Hyderabad Jewellery Pearl and Gem Fair, that connects buyers and sellers in the B2B jewellery segment, has seen a 20 per cent growth in terms of exhibitors and almost 40 per cent rise in the number of visitors. “The most interesting trend in terms of jewellery merchants is that a lot of them are not vary of attending such exhibitions wherein they can connect to prospective buyers and make contacts.
This kind of confidence in expos has substantially increased the footfall in the 8th edition of the Hyderabad fair with almost 150 exhibitors and about close to 5,000 visitors,” said Yogesh Mudra, acting MD, UBM India. With over 110 exhibitors from just the northern part of the country, for Mr Mudra, this far continues to be the South India gateway for markets across India. The fair is a three day starting on Friday and ending on June 7.
