Mumbai: With India touring Bangladesh next week, exactly after a year, all eyes will be on Virat Kohli and Rubel Hossain after the much talked about douchebaggery during the ICC World Cup 2015.
Not only that, revenge will be in the minds of all Bangladesh cricket fans apart from the players after their quarterfinal loss to Team India in the world event. The Tigers can no longer be called minnows. They have been beating world class teams, putting up a brave show consistently over the last couple of years.

Nonetheless, the rivalry is healthy between the two cricketing nations keeping in mind the cut-throat spirit. Hossain – already in the news for his controversy involving a rape allegation – dismissed Kohli in the mega event and went overboard with his celebrations.
It was a natural reaction to Kohli’s aggressive words which he uttered four years back in the ICC World Cup 2011. But the passion and emotion did not originate then, in fact, it is since the two started their respective international careers.
During the U-19 World Cup in 2008, the duo got involved in a heated exchange for the first time and umpires had to intervene. Since then, it has been ‘game on’.
With the whole Bangladesh protesting over the ‘no-ball’ decision during the World Cup and saying that it tilted the match in India’s favour, this series will be a perfect platform for bloods to boil, dams to break.
It remains to be seen who has the last laugh on this occasion, Kohli or Hossain?
Even a drawn series against the Men in Blue shall satisfy The Tigers. But the Test match, to be captained by Kohli, will be worth a watch.
