Kovai students shine at Olympiad Awards

R. Arnesh of class 3 from Yuvabharathi public school got the state third rank
COIMBATORE: Students from Coimbatore once again proved their mettle by bagging eight state ranks at the 2014-15 Olympiad Awards held by Science Olympiad Foundation. A class V student, Sanjita P. of Suguna PIP School (JR. wing) and Shyam Mohan of class 12 from Chinmaya international residential school won the international English Olympiad.
And S.K. Vignesh, class 8 student of Vidhya Niketan public school emerged state topper in the National Science Olympiad.
Also, K.S. Suryaa of class 11 from Suguna PIP school (SR. wing) secured the second rank in National Cyber Olympiad; Veenuthini R. of class 2 from P.S.G.R. Krishnammal nursery & primary school got the second rank in the Mathematics Olympiad, Abhay Narendran of class 7 from C.S. Academy got the second place in International English Olympiad.
R. Arnesh of class 3 from Yuvabharathi public school got the state third rank in Mathematics Olympiad while Jayasurya V. of class 6 from PSBB Millenium school emerged state third in English Olympiad. The top 10 principals and top 40 teachers, whose students put up exceptional performance at international level, were also felicitated with cash awards, mementos and citations.
