The shooting of Jiiva’s Thirunaal directed by Ramnath, has the actor playing a rogue in it. The Ko star is sporting a different look for the film to get into the shoes of the character, and we hear that he has undergone a transformation in his hairstyle and body language. Interestingly, when the crew was canning a fight sequence in the interiors of Kumbakonam where Jiiva takes on few goons, the team got the shock of their lives. They came across a bunch of thugs who were fighting for real.
A source said, “There were around 20 people and many were fighting with each other for reasons unknown. The film crew has filmed their portions, but they are not sure whether this real fight will be incorporated in the film. These thugs fled the moment they realised that a film shoot was underway.” Thirunaal marks the first getting together of Jiiva and Nayanthara as leading pair, after the 2006 release of E.
