KJo feels an evil eye has been cast on his film and doesn’t want to talk about it

Mumbai: Karan Johar does not want to talk much about his Shuddhi, which has been jinxed from the beginning. During the press conference for the launch of Baahubali in Mumbai, when Karan was asked whether the cast of the film had been finalised, he said, “I don’t know whose buri nazar (evil eye) has been cast on Shuddhi… Let me put everything in place and whenever we are ready to divulge news of Shuddhi, I shall update you.”
After A-listers like Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Salman Khan backed out of the film, sources tell us that Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt have now been finalised.
