Telangana got more assets than Andhra Pradesh: P Narayana
Nellore/Ongole/Tirupati: TD leaders and employees associations praised N. Chandrababu Naidu for his efforts to build new state during Nava Nirmana Deeksha held at Nellore on Tuesday. A large number of government employees and TD leaders took part in the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, urban development minister, Dr P. Narayana, alleged that Telangana got more than AP in distribution of assets and revenue while dividing the state although AP share supposed to be 58 per cent. He said that the move led to a deficit of Rs 98,000 crore in the budget of AP. Mr Narayana expressed confidence in overcoming the serious issues while pointing to the administrative and political experience of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
Former ministers Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy, Adala Prabhakar Reddy and T. Ramesh Reddy, mayor Sk. Abdul Azeez, collector M. Janaki, TD district unit president Beeda Ravichandra, TD leaders Beeda Masthan Rao, M. Sridhar Krishna Reddy and T. Anuradha were present.
Minister for transport Siddha Raghava Rao said that the government will waive Rs 10,000 crore loans of the self help groups to keep up its promises and added that the officials have already began an exercise. He inaugurated Nava Nirmana Deeksha held at DRRM High School in Ongole on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said the government has implemented welfare sche-mes at a cost of Rs 40,000 cro-re during the last one year for the welfare of the poor. He said that the government was committed for the development of the district. It will develop Ramayapatnam Port and Donakonda Industrial Corridor. Mr Naidu has taken steps to set up industries in Donakonda. Earlier, students took out rallies from the RIMS to DRRM School.
Addressing a meeting held in Chittoor, minister for forests Bojjala Gopalakrishna Reddy said that the government will sanction another Rs 3 lakh pensions to the poor very soon and added that the officials have began pensions to sanction new pensions. He assured that the government will bring Handri-Neeva water to Kuppam.
