The bail application of Mr Revanth Reddy is posted to Friday

Hyderabad: The government has appointed senior criminal lawyer V. Surender Rao as special public prosecutor in the Revanth Reddy case. Mr Rao had secured acquittal for actor N. Balakrishna in the shooting case.
Mr Rao said, “The government appointed me as special PP in the cash for vote case till the trial concludes.” The bail application of Mr Revanth Reddy is posted to Friday.
The court has dismissed another petition filed by the defence regarding his medical condition, he said.
The prosecution requested time to file a counter and the judge postponed the hearing to Friday.
