The government intends to provide free Wi-Fi at other tourist places

Hyderabad: IT minister K.T. Rama Rao inaugurated the free Wi-Fi facility at Charminar on Tuesday. The facility was also launched at Birla Mandir, Birla Science City, Birla planetarium, Gandhi Hospital, Public Gardens and Nims.
Mr Rao said that within a year the entire city would be Wi-Fi enabled. In partnership with BSNL and the US-based QuadGen Wireless, the government intends to provide free Wi-Fi at other tourist places.
