Ranveer Singh beats all odds to celebrate Deepika's father's birthday

Mumbai: Deepika Padukone is living the life of a party these days, especially after the phenomenal success of her film ‘Piku’, and now her father’s upcoming 60th birthday bash. One guest who has secured his spot at a table is none other that her ‘good friend’ Ranveer Singh.

Reports on Wednesday suggest that the actor is beating all odds to be a part of the grand celebrations and will be flying back from Malaysia in time to party. Ranveer, is currently juggling between shooting for his film ‘Bajirao Mastani’, promoting his upcoming flick ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’, physiotherapy sessions and of late, an award function that he will be hosting abroad.

The actor, who has been receiving a lot of praises for his performance in Zoya Akhtar’s ‘DDD’ reportedly informed the award show’s organisers about his prior commitments and excused himself for a day, to be by Deepika’s side.

Prakash Padukone is best known as a former Indian badminton player who won accolades in his time. He will turn 60 on 10th June. A few months ago, Ranveer, Deepika and her father were spotted together at a plush hotel having a chat over tea.

This won’t be the first time the actor will be joining the Padukones for a family event. He even flew down to the Maldives to join the family over the New Year’s week end.
