The 22-year-old has reportedly found a place close to her parents' home
Mumbai: Alia Bhatt has often spoken about and discussed the idea of moving out of her parents’ home and living independently. Early this year, there was buzz about the young actress meeting builders and property dealers, which gave way to speculation that the 22-year-old wanted a place of her own.
Reports on Wednesday suggest that the Shaandaar actress has indeed found a place that is a stone throw away from her parent’s home. Contrary to several rumours, Alia won’t be moving into her new home with beau Sidharth Malhotra, but has purchased the pad for ‘investment purposes’.
“I have thought about living all by myself. But I’m scared that my decision might not work for me. The one person I always want to see when I get back home is my mother,” Alia had said in an earlier interview with this newspaper.
The Bhatts have always been unapologetic about living life on their terms. Alia’s father Mahesh Bhatt has maintained that his children have the liberty to live their life the way they want.
If reports are to be believed, then Alia has a lot of renovation work to do, and would most likely be shifting early next year.
