Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Staff report to allotted states
Hyderabad: The division of state-cadre employees between Telangana state and Andhra Pradesh, by the Kamalanathan Committee, has reached the final stages.
In about 20 departments, where bifurcation has been completed, employees started reporting to the respective governments they have been allotted to from Monday.
This was true especially in cases where no objections were filed against the allotment to a particular state.
The Committee has given two-week time to the employees to lodge their objections, if any.
The deadline has been over in 20 departments and as per the Centre's guidelines, in case of the employees who filed no objections, the heads of departments should issue relieving letters to enable the employees to take up the new job. If the employees are already working for the same state to which they were allotted by the Committee, they don't require relieving letters.
The committee has completed preliminary bifurcation of employees in 52 departments so far. The notifications in this regard were already issued in 28 departments. The remaining notifications are expected in two weeks.
