ISIS forms special brigand to recruit jihadi brides
Women are also being identified as potential militants unlike as mere jihadi brides
At a time when increasing number of women are leaving their homes to join ISIS and their role in the organisation debated, new information from the ISIS held territory indicate that recruitment of the female jihadis is more institutionalised and complex than previously thought.
The blogger Mosul Eye, who had earlier given information on the 3 British teenagers escaping the ISIS' clutches, revealed on a Facebook post that the terror outfit has formed a special brigand of female recruits, who's main duty is to recruit girls and women to join ISIL and convince them to marry its militants.
They are also entrusted in missions that male insurgents are not capable undertaking and mainly occupying hospitals and schools, explained the blogger.
"36-year-old Dina Uzbek from Uzbekistan arrived in Mosul a few months ago to join ISIL with her husband and two kids. And soon enough she found herself in charge of finding brides for ISIL militants. Stationed at Al Jamhouri Hospital, she practices her activity in luring girls and women to marry ISIL militants. She also leads "Alkhansaa Battalion", consisted of a large number of women from many different nationalities, Asians, Europeans, Turkish and Kurds," read the post.
This information comes in the face of another revealation by the Daily Mail that the three British teenagers who travelled to Syria were likely to die and that they were being prepared for 'special missions.'
There is also a rising debate in the west about the role of women in ISIS, as to whther they are merely expected to be brides for the militants or undertake more activity. The posts by the blogger indicate that women are also being identified as potential militants, unlike previously as mere jihadi brides.
Another post by also gives explaination behind the ISIS' obsession with Rome. "ISIL's dream to conquer Rome and put its flag on top of the Roman Colosseum depicted on the walls of the presidential palaces of Mosul," said the Mosul Eye. According to a report in the Daily mail, the ISIS had recently, posted Arabic threats written in Twitter, with the Roman ruins in the backdrop. But many have called it merely fear mongering and a hoax.
