What an asset!

12-year-old Nimmat Gill topped the Asset Test from India, beating lakhs of students

Nimmat Gill, a Class VIII student of DPS, Nacharam, scored the highest in English in the Asset Test, India’s largest diagnostic assessment test taken by more than 3.5 lakh students from India, the UAE, Kuwait and Singapore every year.
Nimmat, who has always been one of the toppers of her class and is also an avid reader and a Science Olympiad gold-medalist says, “I put in three to four hours every day; I practiced from a special workbook and revised my classroom notes.”

Besides academics, the 12-year-old also finds time to pursue her other interests, which include swimming, golf and horse riding. She is grateful to her parents, particularly her mother, for being there whenever she needed her.

Nimmat, who aspires to study at Harvard or Oxford University, says, “I feel it is important to thoroughly understand what is being taught in class and revise regularly. That’s when, even with little preparation, one can ace competitive tests.”
