Sonakshi Sinha gets busy in the recording studio with Mika Singh

Mumbai: Sonakshi Sinha is the latest actress to join the actor-turned-singer bandwagon. The actress recently recorded a new song with singer Mika Singh. According to Sonakshi’s post the actress was recording a song for the upcoming IIFA awards.

At a recent event, Sonakshi revealed that she will be performing at the prestigious award function, which will be held in Kuala Lampur, Malaysia this year. “I'm all set for IIFA. I always had this 'rockstar' dream in my life that I am singing at a concert... and this is going to be as close to it as possible. In a way, my dream is coming true. So, yes, I am very excited,” the actress said.

Singer Mika also took to twitter to post several pictures from the studio from their first recording session, and he even mentioned that the actress has a lovely voice.

We can’t wait to see Sonakshi work her magic on stage. The actress will perform at IIFA Rocks, an exclusive musical extravaganza, which will be hosted by Ayushmann Khurrana and Parineeti Chopra, on the commencing day. She will also be a part of a live act on the concluding awards night on June 7.
