In a bizarre statement, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, chief of Pakistan’s political outfit, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islami Fazl (JUI-F) has asked the Pakistani armed forces to launch an operation against women wearing jeans all over the country.
According to him, women wearing jeans are behind earthquakes, inflation and other kinds of disasters.
During a press conference, Rehman said that a woman who is not covered like a ‘sack of flour’ is a weapon of mass destruction.
He also said that if women are wrapped in sacks and kept at home, then Taliban would not be attacking Pakistan.
Rehman urged Pakistan’s Army chief to declare ‘war’ against Pakistani women wearing jeans.
