Acid victim gets AP state employment
Victim has been appointed as junior assistant in revenue department
Ongole: A victim of acid attack in 2011, Ms Asha Jyothi of Mogalluru village of Veligonda mandal in Prakasam district has been appointed as junior assistant in revenue department under compassionate grounds at the instance of the Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Friday.
Prakasam district collector Sujatha Sarma has handed over the appointment order to Ms Asha Jyothi here on Friday. It may be recalled that a political leader along with three others allegedly threw the acid on Asha Jyothi while sleeping outside her house allegedly for refusing to love him in 2011.
The woman at that time was working as contract teacher in physical education training then at Kasturba School in Mogalluru village of Veligonda mandal.
