When B-town turned bitter tweet
A look at Twitter wars that made headlines
Rishi Kapoor vs Ajaz Khan
The senior Kapoor has quite a fan following on Twitter, for calling a spade a spade. Former Bigg Boss contestant Ajaz had tweeted in favour of Salman Khan during the hit-and-run case trial, earlier this month. Rishi retorted saying, “Ashamed of Abhijeet the singer and some Ejaz Khan. Bunch of idiots and non starters.” Ajaz took the opportunity to hit back and even claimed to be the only Indian actor who is the brand ambassador of the Oscars in his tweets.
Anurag Kashyap vs KRK
Recently Kamaal R. Khan, who is notorious for taking digs at celebrities at every given opportunity, claimed that Anurag Kashyap and Karan Johar had threatened him to say good things about Bombay Velvet. He posted the messages he allegedly received from them on Twitter. “I have not reviewed any film this week because Karan Johar n Anurag Kashyap threatened n asked me to not review any film anymore,” his tweet read.
Reacting to it, Anurag tweeted back saying, “For the record I have nothing to do with Mr KRK stopping to review films, I think he is shit scared that he will have to eat his words. So he blames it on me, because it’s also easy to believe that I must have done it.”
Twinkle Khanna vs Chetan Bhagat
Recently we had Twinkle and author Chetan Bhagat taking digs at each other on Twitter. Twinkle had joked about wanting to change her name to Chetali Bhagat (so that her columns would be made into movies). The writer was quick to take a dig at Twinkle’s flop films saying that nobody offered him films like Barsaat or Baadshah.
But “Mrsfunnybones”, as Twinkle is known on Twitter, had a witty reply ready. “Well, if you were taller, had more hair u could have got bobby deol’s role and if you were way cooler, then SRK would be jobless,” she tweeted.
Sonakshi Sinha vs Abhijeet
Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya was among the few who tweeted in support of Salman Khan during his trial. He went on to compare homeless people sleeping on the streets to street dogs. In his tweets he had tagged Dabangg actress Sonakshi Sinha expecting to get her support. But was in for quite a shock when Sonakshi replied saying, “I support my friend but i would never support such insensitive and negative talk. Please dont tag me in ur tweets @abhijeetsinger sir.”
