Ashwin Kakumanu to join Ajith’s film?

If sources are to be believed, Ashwin Kakumanu will have a prominent role to play in the tentatively titled Thala 56 being directed by ‘Siruthai’ Siva. Ajith and Ashwin have shared the screen before, in Venkat Prabhu’s Mankatha, in which scenes that combined them were integral to the film.

The young actor had expressed his admiration for Ajith in the past, and visited him during the shoot of Gautham Menon’s Yennai Arindhaal, when his own shoot was happening in the vicinity. The Megha actor is currently awaiting the release of the supernatural thriller Zero, in which he plays the lead.
