BJP top brass to visit southern states for party expansion
Vijayawada: The BJP on Thursday said that its top brass would visit southern states as part of its plan to expand base in these states. BJP general secretary P Muralidhar Rao said this here on Thursday.
"BJP plans to expand in southern states. Therefore, to infuse confidence among people, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party president Amit Shah would visit these states," Rao said.
He said that Congress has lost its image and may never be able to revive itself again.
"Therefore, BJP feels that this is the right time to expand in south," he added.
The leader claimed that the NDA government has fulfilled its election promises and eliminated corruption and brought transparency in administration.
"The government has reached the poorest of the poor through its various initiatives like Jan Dhan Yojana and the recently-launched social security schemes," he said.
