IAS officers condemn unethical posters in Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu IAS officers Association passed a resolution condemning the unethical posters

Chennai: Responding to a Deccan Chronicle story that reported unethical posters mushrooming in the city alleging a Rs10,000 crore scam by TN IAS officers, the Tamil Nadu IAS officers Association (TNIOA) passed a resolution on Tuesday condemning the unethical posters.

A copy of the resolution adopted by the association reads, “The TNIOA expresses its deep anguish and concern over the recent display of posters in public places with names and photographs of some of its members with allegations of corruption without any basis. This is highly demoralising for the IAS officer of this state, who have put in their sincere and dedicated service in bringing the state to its leading position in the country.

We are sure that citizens of the state and the media appreciate this very well. While we are open to constructive criticism, we condemn such efforts intended to tarnish and defame individual officers without basis,” added the resolution signed by senior IAS officers P. W. C. Davidar and K. Rajaraman.“Further action will be decided after interacting with more officers,” a IAS association member said.
