Taapsee to play a cop in Selvaraghavan ’s film?

If sources are to be believed, Taapsee Pannu is essaying the role of a police officer in her current film, directed by Selvaraghavan, with Simbu playing the lead. The Kanchana 2 actress was seen playing an investigative officer in the B’town flick Baby that released earlier this year. If everything goes well, this could be the first time the actress will don the khakhi for a South Indian film.

We also hear that the Delhi lass has a few high octane scenes in this action movie. Selva has created a different character for Simbu too, as per sources. Meanwhile, we have heard that the makers of the film are mulling over the title Kaan. The film, which has Yuvan Shankar Raja composing the music and Arvind Krishna behind the lens, also has Catherine Tresa as the other female lead.
