AAP govt has failed in delivering its promises: BJP
New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party ( BJP) leader Satish Upadhyay on Monday said that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP Government which had earlier promised to address over 70 issues have come down to just 11 adding that the latter had failed to deliver what they had promised.
"Today Kejriwal has come down to 11 issues from the 70 issues he had promised to address. This was an event to build his own image; this was their way to waste the hard earned money of Delhi's people. Now they have to give details of the expense of this event," said Upadhyay.
"He came with around 70 types of promises; he had put large size hoardings around Delhi in which he had promised about free wifi, free water, CCTV. He had also said that people who are working on a contractual basis will be made permanent and that electricity will be free and the youth will get jobs but their delivery is zero," he added.
Earlier in the day, Kejriwal held a 'Jan Samvad' at the Central Park in Connaught Place.
