Thiruvananthapuram: All India Congress Committee spokesperson Khushboo has said that the party would return strongly at the national level. Ms Khushboo told reporters here on Sunday that the party would also make their presence felt in her home state of Tamil Nadu. The BJP government at the centre was a total failure, she said, and added that it had been proved that only the Congress could find a solution to the problems plaguing the country.
The rule of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the past one year was a total failure, said Ms Khushboo. The BJP had not been able to solve the problems of the people and farmers. Modi had promised to bring back black money in 100 days. However, the government was now silent on the issue.
Modi was visiting foreign countries but the country was not getting any benefits out of it, Khusboo said. Though the price of crude oil had been falling in the international market, the petrol price was increasing in the country.
The Congress was not a party of Rahul Gandhi alone, but Rahul’s return to active party work had strengthened it, she said. The BJP was not even able to give a reply to the questions raised by Rahul in parliament, she said.
