Kadiam Srihari fights with Errabelli Dayakar Rao
Mr Kadiam said the government does not act in a biased way towards any constituency
WARANGAL: Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari and TD leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao got involved in a war of words in public yet again. This time, it was on the stage of a development programme being organised in Palakurthy mandal. Party workers from both the parties also indulged in a heated argument before the police separated them.
The incident took place in Bommera village in Palakurthy on Sunday, at Sri Rama Swamy temple, during the foundation laying ceremony of constructing a BT road between PWD road and Harijanawada.
While Mr Dayakar Rao sought to know why there is a delay in release of funds for development projects in his constituency, Mr Kadiam said the government does not act in a biased way towards any constituency. To this, Mr Rao said “Out of the Rs 31 crore that are to be released for development projects in Palakurthy, only Rs 4 crore were released. In all the other constituencies the entire money was released. If you have a grudge against me, you can settle the scores with me, but please do not trouble the people.”
Reacting to this, the TRS workers shouted against Mr Dayakar Rao saying he cannot talk like that to the Deputy CM of the state. The TD party workers flung into action this time and a heated exchange of words took place between both the groups.
