Hyderabad: Two sisters fight with mother, go missing

The cops have formed a team to trace the women as soon as possible

Hyderabad: Two sisters went missing from their house in the Mallelaguda area of Jawaharnagar.

The girls, who belong to Karnataka, came to the city to stay with their father who is an official in the Rapid Action Force (RAF). They refused to stay in Hyderabad and left the house after an argument with their mother. The girls were identified as Binduram, 20, a degree student and Ruchithram, 18, an Intermediate student. Both of them were staying with their mother Bangaramma in the Tippur village of Thampur district in Karnataka. Their father Rambohi was transferred about eight months ago and is now posted as an ASI in the RAF’s 99th battalion here at Jawaharnagar.

SI N. Venkana said the women and their mother came to the city about 18 days ago and were staying in an apartment in Jawahar-nagar and not at the police quarters. They were unhappy at leaving Karnataka and did not want to study in Hyderabad. They continuously pestered their mother regarding this. “On Saturday afternoon while their mother was asleep the women took Rs 8,000 from the house and left. Their parents waited in vain for them to return. Based on a complaint a missing case was booked,” said Mr N. Venkanna.

Police said the family thinks the women are safe and may have returned to their native place in Karnataka as they were not happy living here. Their parents too returned after searching for them. Meanwhile, the cops have formed a team to trace the women as soon as possible.
