Gang of 7 held, YSRC leader’s murder solved
The accused were arrested on Saturday morning at the Mananoor forest check post
Hyderabad: The police solved the murder case of B. Vasanth Rao, a YSRC leader from Kurnool, and arrested a seven-member gang from Mahbubnagar. The accused were nabbed in Achampet area and weapons seized from their possession. Police said that the reason behind the murder was political rivalry.
The accused have been identified as Venkat Reddy, Ramsubba Reddy, Nageshwar Rao, K. Chinnaiah, S. Ruprasha, Chinna Venkatesh and Guruvaiah. The accused were arrested on Saturday morning at the Mananoor forest check post. They confessed during interrogation.
