Mumbai: Mr. Perfectionist, who was recently present at the inauguration of the third edition of the Maharashtra Chess League, revealed something that came as a surprise to many in the audience.

We all are aware of how ace actress Katrina Kaif likes to keep her private life a mystery. The actress, who opened the Cannes Film Festival this year and has a number of releases lined up, is also a champ when it comes to games like chess.

Speaking to media, Aamir spilled the beans on how he almost lost the match to the diva when they were playing the game. “She is a good chess player. I almost lost when I played with her," he said.

The actor also whole heartedly welcomed scripts that revolves around the game and would like to make a film on it. "I would love to do a film on the game of chess if a script comes to me. But I don't work towards scripts. I like the scripts to come to me organically. Let's see if something comes up," he shared.
