Vairamuthu works with new team
Multiple National Award-winner Vairamuthu, who is normally picky about his films, has written all the five songs for the forthcoming Avalukkena Azhagiya Mugam (AAM). The ace lyricist, who has been writing for more than three decades for various biggies from Sivaji Ganesan to Kamal and Rajinikanth, as well as ace filmmakers like Bharathiraja and Bhagyaraj, has no plans to avoid working with youngsters.
The movie is a romance, about three guys with failed relationships in the past and how they help the romance of a fourth friend who enters their lives. “I was very impressed with the way debut director Kesavan narrated the story. Apart from romance, there is also plenty of humor in the script. I agreed to pen all the five songs which are in different genres,” says Vairamuthu. Anupama Prakash, a known name in modeling scene and ramp circuit in Delhi has been roped in as the heroine, and Poova-rasan is the lead protagonist.
For a song on friendship Dolu Dolu, Vairamuthu has used several popular adages for the first time, which has been sung by Ranjith and team. The movie has been produced by 22-year-old Kathiravan, who is an engineering student.
