Hyderabad: A keen contest, cross-voting and horse trading is in the offing as seven candidates are in the fray for six MLC seats to be elected by MLAs in Telangana.
The ruling TRS, which can win four seats, sprung a surprise by fielding a fifth candidate, leaving the field open to lure MLAs from Congress, TDP and other parties for the sake of Bangaru Telangana.
