AP Eamcet held before benefits Telangana students:
Many of the students considered the AP Eamcet a practice test before the TS Eamcet, specifically in the medicine stream. HRD minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao released the results of the AP Eamcet on Thursday. Among the top ten rankers in the engineering, seven are from TS while the others are from Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada. On the other hand, the medicine stream had six students of TS among the top ten. The remaining were from Guntur and Visakhapatnam. Both the toppers in engineering and medicine are from Hyderabad.
AP Eamcet was held five days before the TS Eamcet in Hyderabad and AP districts. This provided the TS students with an ideal opportunity to practice in a real time environment. “There are better medical colleges in Telangana. But AP Eamcet being held before the TS Eamcet was a good practice test,” Sheelam Srinaiah, father of Sheelam Charishma, the 9th ranker in AP Eamcet, said.
