A 22-year-old man is grabbing headlines with an extraordinary elephant selfie. The selfie was taken by an elephant in Thailand that grabbed his GoPro camera.
The 22-year-old spent past semester on an exchange program in Bangkok, came across the tech-friendly animal while travelling through southern Thailand.
The snapshot has gone viral after the 22-year-old recently posted it on Instagram. LeBlanc has been calling it the world's first elephant selfie — or "elfie" or "elphie".
LeBlanc graduated a couple of weeks ago and is now exploring the Philippines. He says he hopes what people take away from his story is just how easy it is to travel, even on a small budget.
