IPL 8, CSK vs RCB: Six players to watch out for
Mumbai: Chennai Super Kings have one more chance to seal their place in the final of the eighth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). If they do, it will be their sixth final. Royal Challengers Bangalore, on the other hand, are looking solid in their approach. However, when these two teams meet, watch out for these six players.
Chennai Super Kings
Dwayne Bravo: Come what may, Bravo never fails to impress – be it with the bat or ball. He recently completed 100 wickets in the IPL and is a fantastic bowler in the death overs. He already has 23 wickets in 15 matches.
Faf du Plessis: The South African looked in good touch against Mumbai Indians. Though he could not finish the business but was timing the ball perfectly. He would like to have a go at Harshal Patel and company.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni: The captain missed out on the last game, falling prey to Harbhajan Singh. But he is a big match player, always saving the best for last. In an important match, Dhoni performs better than usual.
Royal Challengers Bangalore
Mandeep Singh: Well, this youngster stole the show against Rajasthan Royals with an unbeaten half-century. He will surely look to continue from where he left. Not to forget, he is brilliant on the field too.
AB de Villiers: Even if he scored a match-winning knock and has to play another the next day, he wouldn’t mind. That’s AB for you. Fresh from a 38-ball 66 and a ton against Mumbai Indians earlier, he is the trump card for Bangalore.
Mitchell Starc: He is turning out to be the next Mitchell Johnson. Lethal, wicket-to-wicket with vicious swing. He can trouble the Chennai openers upfront.
