Hyderabad: An armed man opened fire inside an unguarded State Bank of India ATM and looted a woman techie of her gold ornaments, mobile phone and debit card at Yousufguda on Wednesday at around 7.30 am.
A few minutes later, he withdrew Rs 3,500 from her account at another ATM located one and half kilometre away. There were no security guards at the main bank building and at the ATM centre.
The man, who had covered his face with a handkerchief, initially asked her for money, and when she refused, he took out a firearm and fired a round at the wall.
