Selfies, hotties and freeloaders
Rahul Gandhi’s recent visit to Nirmal town created a huge buzz and many youngsters who come from political familes loyal to the Congress wanted to use this opportunity to go and mingle with their future leader. But sadly, even getting eye contact proved impossible for many thanks to Gandhi’s security cover as well as zillion other people pushing and shoving, to get closer to Rahul.
But the one guy who braved the crowds and managed to not just meet Rahul, but also get a selfie with him was Aamer Javed.
What many don’t realise is that Rahul likes polite, well-spoken youngsters and Aamer fits the bill — when compared to all the others there trying to impress RaGa. Another one who got to bond with RaGa was former AP deputy CM Damodar Raja Narasimha. While others were busy chasing Rahul and getting their big SUVs in a jam (in those tiny village roads), Raja Narasimha decided to go ahead and wait for Rahul at a pre-planned location. And he arrived at that location at 6.30 am while everyone else was just waking up. RaGa was supposed to visit five families in the village... the smart politician decided the best way to get an audience with the Congress leader was to park himself there well before anybody. And the plan worked.... he got considerable facetime with the leader.
Ram Gopal Varma’s fascination with the mafia is no secret. What many don’t know is that RGV loves weapons too, especially guns. Guess this is the reason the walls at his office and home are adorned with a blown up image of a gun. And RGV’s couch is positioned in such a way at home, that he is sitting beneath the gun.
Actor Mohan Babu is all praise for T. Subbirami Reddy. The actor is overwhelmed by the latter’s generosity. He tweeted, “Thanks goes to Dr T. Subbarami Reddy specially. He has such a large and giving heart.”
Vishnu Manchu said it was in the last minute that they needed help with extra rooms to put up their outstation guests and when they approached TSR, he simply said, “Take the whole hotel.” While TSR is generous, the guests too should realise that when invited for a wedding, they cannot plan a week-long holiday! Apparently some actor-couples did. Guess who was checked out by all the girls at Manoj Manchu’s wedding? Music director Achu, who is the groom’s best friend. The ladies were quite disappointed when they heard he was a married man.
