With his last three outings namely Biryani, Mankatha and Goa getting U/As and A Censor Certificates respectively, Venkat Prabhu’s latest venture Masss with Suriya has been awarded a clean U Certificate. A much relieved Prabhu says, “The fantasy entertainer was well received by the censor members and except for a few mutes in certain places, the film has been given a U without any cuts.
It is not a usual horror film. The negative elements have been toned down so that it will go well with children and family audiences. I am happy that our deliberate attempts to bring children to the theatres to watch Masss have been fruitful.”
Looks like the makers are leaving no stones unturned to make this supernatural horror flick reaching out to larger audiences. They also seem to have plans to participate in international festivals by subtitling it in English even as the post production works are on.
