Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan underwent an arthroscpic surgery on his left knee at Breach Candy hospital in Mumbai on Thursday.
The actor who had been suffering from repeated pain and swelling on his knee for the last several months was operated upon by Dr Sanjay Desai.
The surgery occurred due to a wear of his patella (knee cap) that made moving his leg difficult for the actor. The wear occurred due to repeated injuries at the same spot on his leg for the last few years.
The actor has been advised complete rest and has to take a break from his hectic schedule. He will be discharged on Friday.
Shah Rukh Khan took to Twitter to share his constant grief visiting hospitals. He posted.
