The director general of foreign trade has extended the time for sale and export of red sanders

Hyderabad: In a big relief to Andhra Pradesh government, the director general of foreign trade has extended the time for sale and export of red sanders till April 2016. The state can clear off all the sales and exports in a year.
According to the DGFT, the AP government and the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence shall finalise the modalities, including allocation of quantities to authorised entities for export of the red sanders wood, and shall complete the whole process of export latest by April 30, 2016. However, the DFGT said this is subject to orders passed by the High Court of Madras in a write petition filed in 2007.
