Modi appeasing terrorists involved in blast case, says Asaduddin Owaisi
Owaisi criticised Modi and alleged that he was trying to appease terrorists
Hyderabad: MIM president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and alleged that he was trying to appease terrorists involved in the Macca Masjid blast case.
Addressing a public protest meeting in memory of Macca Masjid blast victims at Kalapathar of old city on Saturday night, Mr Owaisi said, “If Modi really believes his slogan ‘appeasement of none and justice to all’, he has to initiate steps to move an SLP before the Supreme Court for the cancellation of bail to Macca Masjid blast accused.” Citing the charge-sheet of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in the Macca Masjid case, the MP alleged that the PM was not been initiating steps for cancellation of bail to Devendra Gupta, Lokesh Sharma and other accused in the case because they are RSS workers.
He said that the NIA clearly mentioned in its charge-sheet that the Devendra Gupta and others hatched plans to carry out bomb blasts in Ajmer, Malegaon, Samjhauta Express and Macca Masjid in retaliation to Sankat Mochan temple blasts.
He demanded the Telangana State government to release the report of Justice Bhaskara Rao commission which probed the police firing and violence after the explosion in the mosque. He said that the commission had submitted its report in 2010. Till then the government had not taken any action against the police officers responsible for the unwarranted police firing at the mosque after the bomb blast. He asked the state government to take steps to speed up the trial in Gokul Chat and Lumbini Park bomb blast cases and punish the accused involved in the case.
