Google may be trying to kill Windows Phone apps
Google’s AdMob is one of the largest mobile advertising platforms. The ad network allows developers to earn revenue from their apps, be it Android, iOS or Windows Phone platform, from the ads that Google serves them. However, app developers on the Windows Phone platform have been reporting a decline in ad revenue from Google’s AdMob.
The instance has got developers to thinking if Google is intentionally trying to kill the Windows Phone apps (who are also its rivals) by making it arduous for Windows Phone developers to earn proceeds out of these apps. Some developers claimed that the amount of ad space on Windows Phone apps dropped from 99 per cent to 7 per cent, starting May 7.
This obviously raged the developers, and they tweeted their experience online.

Fill rate #wp #admob is drop down (73%), make sure that sales will plummet in this month. Google is evil!

However, Google recently posted a tweet saying that they are aware of the issue and are working on it. Google did not clarify what the issue was and when will it be fixed.
We're aware of fill rate issues for Windows Phone in AdMob. We're actively investigating and working to fix this, more details soon.
