BJP finds Rahul Gandhi ‘childish’
Lucknow: The BJP hit back at Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi calling his remarks “childish” and “frivolous”, with PMO minister of state Jitendra Singh asking the Congress leader where he was during his recent 56-day sabbatical.
“All of us, every Indian, should be proud of the PM’s visits abroad... At least we are aware where our PM is, he’s in South Korea today. But the leader making these allegations... we were not aware of where this gentleman was,” Mr Singh said.
Mr Gandhi said the cancellation of the mega food park project has affected farmers and labourers of Amethi and 10 neighboring districts. “The Centre wanted to take revenge on me, but the move has affected farmers,” he stated.
“Mr Modi is visiting foreign countries but he is ignoring the plight of farmers and labourers back home,” he said referring to Mr Modi’s foreign visit.
