Pannyan Raveendran deposes before solar panel
Kochi: CPM leader Pannyan Raveendran has submitted before the Solar Judicial Commission that the commission should check the letter sent by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy to then Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Farookh Abdullah in 2013.
The letter can be trusted as it was one of the first few letters in the solar case, Pannyan said. He handed over the letter sent in December 13, 2012. He also handed over a letter sent in January 16, 2013 to the then union principal secretary.
He further deposed that it was hard to believe the chief minister’s statement that his meeting with Biju Radhakrishnan at Aluva Guest House was not related to solar scam.
Pannyan submitted that the act of magistrate V. Raju who refused to record the statement of Saritha S Nair was suspicious.
