Pandiraj will return to shoot INA if assurances are given
Idhu Namma Aalu, aka INA, which brings Simbu and Nayanthara together after a long hiatus, has been in the news since the movie was launched by director Pandiraj. This feel-good entertainer which has been in the making for a while also marks the debut of STR’s brother Kuralarasan as the music composer. The movie is being produced by Simbu’s dad T Rajendar (TR).
Pandiraj, known for working fast, reportedly blamed STR for delaying shoots. He also tweeted that Kuralarasan was not prompt with creating the background music and the songs. Having waited for long, the national award winning filmmaker moved on to his next film titled Haiku, which revolves around children and is produced by Suriya’s company, 2D Entertainment. Sources say that Simbu’s father T Rajendar approached the Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) and asked them to solve the issue.
TR had apparently asked TFPC to advice Pandiraj to finish Idhu Namma Aalu. When we contacted Pandiraj, who is now wrapping up Haiku, he said, “Yes, I also heard that TR sir lodged a verbal complaint with the TFPC. I am clear from my side. Ask them to provide the necessary money for the rest of the shoot and the balance songs from Kuralarasan, and I will finish the film.”
