Striking a chord: Narendra Modi turns musician in Mongolia
Ulan Bator: Prime Minister Narendra Modi seems to have a penchant for musical instruments. The 64-year-old leader who is currently on a three-nation tour did not shy away from playing the traditional ‘morin khuur’ during his visit to Mongolia.
Morin Khuur, also known, as horsehead fiddle is a traditional Mongolian bowed stringed instrument.
In September 2014, an upbeat Modi did not shy away from trying his hand at the traditional Taiko drums in Japan.

Modi created quite a stir with his talent back then, revealing a much lighter side of him.
Recently, Modi engaged in a brief musical performance at a school for specially-abled children in Dantewada in Chattisgarh.
Modi was meeting children at a school, when one of them began singing and playing music on a chair, using his hands.
Amused by the kid’s gesture, Modi joined him after watching him carefully for a little while.
