Leaked: HTC One ME9 with 20MP camera to be launched soon

HTC rolled out three new high-end smartphones– HTC One M9, HTC One M9+ and HTC One E9+ this year. However, the company may add a new handset to its One series, which will likely be known as ‘HTC One ME9’.

Media reports state that the HTC One ME9 smartphone will basically be a budget handset. According to the Zauba’s latest records, around 14000 dummy handset models of HTC One ME9 were imported for promotional purposes. Adding to this, images of the HTC One ME9 also appeared on TENNA, which confirms that the One ME9 is not a rumor anymore.

HTC One ME9 may turn out to be a phablet featuring 5.2-inch Quad HD (2560×1440 pixels) display. The dual-SIM phablet may be powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core processor and definitely run on Android Lollipop operating system. Its high-resolution 20MP rear camera will attract new customers as well. Upleaks also reported that the handset may sport a 4MP Ultrapixel camera

HTC One ME9 is also expected to offer 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage capacity. Latest reports also state that users will also be allowed to expand the storage up to 128GB via microSD card. HTC One ME9 will most probably arrive in the Indian market in July.

HTC One ME9 will be available in three colours - Rose Gold, Gold Sepia, and Meteor Gray.
