It uses cameras and sensors to track the shopper's body in real-time
Melbourne: Now-a-days multiple upscale stores are using smart mirrors in their fitting rooms to help their customers shop easily by suggesting some fashion tip.
In the market, a handful of stores are testing these hi-tech mirrors that snaps a video of the customer in the trial room so that one can compare the image side-by-side with other colorful dresses one try, News.com.au reported.
The marketing experts said that this innovative idea will soon be tried by more stores in the next few years as the technology gets cheaper and in addition to this it will allow stores to catch up with online retailers.
These smart mirrors are fitted with sensors, setting off motion-triggered changes of clothing and captures even small details of the clothing at a 360-degree view and showing how even a shirt will fit without one having to undress.
