Mumbai: Sunny Leone’s husband Daniel Weber, who is busy shooting for his upcoming film, Dangerous Husn, stood up for his wife as she is booked for spreading obscenity. He said: “Since Dangerous Husn is my debut film, I have to put my heart and soul into it, and it is being shot currently a few kilometres away from Mumbai. By the way, why have you called me?”
We ask him about Sunny being booked for alleged distribution of obscene content on the web and social networking sites. “We haven’t yet received any letter about this. I have received more than a hundred phone calls. These are crazy allegations. We will react accordingly, after receiving the letter. At the moment, I am busy with my shoot. I am happy that the film is shaping up well.”
According to a police release, the offence was registered against the 34-year-old actor under Sections 292, 292 A, 294 r/w 34 of the IPC; besides being charged under Section 3 and 4 of Indian Representation of Women and IT Act.
The offence was registered based on a complaint by Anjali Palan, 30, a housewife, who stated that while surfing the internet, she found several obscene posts and pictures of the actress.
