Meizu steps into India, launches first smartphone M1 Note
After Xiaomi’s success in India, now another Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Meizu has finally debuted in the Indian market. From the look of their products online, Meizu appears to be quite promising. The Chinese manufacturer has launched the M1 Note here and will start sales from May 20 in India on Amazon.
The Meizu M1 Note is a 4G-enabled smartphone and sports a 5.5-inch full HD display with a 1920x1080 pixel resolution. It’s display panel will be manufactured by Sharp and protected by a Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The Mi Note will be powered by an 8-core 1.7GHz MTK MT6752 chipset with 2GB of RAM and a MALI-T760MP2 graphics processor. It will also feature a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The M1 Note are available in two internal storage variants—16GB and 32GB, but Meizu has not yet announced which variant will be pitched for India. The Mi Note will also not feature a storage expansion slot. The phablet will also sport a dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n wireless connectivity along with Bluetooth v4.0, GPS and GLONASS and will be fuelles by a 3140mAh battery. Meizu has not yet announced the price for the handsets as yet.

However, PhoneArena has been tipped of a Meizu consignment arriving in India with a price tag of Rs 9,810, of which 3,000 pieces will be white coloured and 1,000 pieces will be in blue. With the model number given in the leaked information, it seems the Meizu M1 Note will carry a 16GB storage. The Meizu M1 Note will compete with rivals such as Xiaomi, Levono, Morotola and Asus in the same price bracket.
